Stephen Shepard, Dean of The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York, allowed Dawn Bantum, an African-American member of the Board of the American Stock Exchange, to be raped on the floor of the American Stock Exchange. Shepard refused to write about the rapes when Shepard was Editor in Chief of BusinessWeek. As Editor in Chief of BusinessWeek, Shepard refused to hire African-American reporters. Shepard believes that African-Americans are Shvartzas.
